I think I'll take my chances with the prolassionefs.Actually, many of the prolassionefs are skeptical of all of the hype. They know that if you can't make a profit because the energy returns on the energy invested is negative there isn't much to get excited about. It seems to me that you are only paying attention to the hype that the industry is pushing without looking at the actual numbers. So let us do that. The past five year 10-K filings with the SEC show that the marginal cost of production is around $7.50. That means that a shale producer can't make money at anywhere near the current prices. Technically recoverable resources are not the same as reserves. To have reserves you have to be able to extract the gas at a cost that is less than the market price.Shale formations are not homogeneous. As Aubrey McClendon told Bloomberg, 'There was a time you all were told that any of the 17 counties in the Barnett Shale play would be just as good as any other county. We found out there are about two or two and a half counties where you really want to be.' There is your 'expert' admitting that much of what he has told investors over the past decade was not accurate.Reports of profits at $5.50 gas require that one does not count expenses like interest, overheads, plug and abandonment costs, dry well write-down costs, etc. The SEC revisions have allowed shale gas operators to overstate their proved undeveloped reserves but the pursuit of low value reserves have caused the total value of proved undeveloped reserves to go down. Per well estimates are too high. Chesapeake was estimating an EUR 6.5 bcf per Haynesville Shale area well. Its production data showed that a realistic number was 2.4 to 2.5 bcf. Given the costs of production and development that meant that Chesapeake was destroying shareholder capital for each well it drilled. The Barnett Shale data shows the same problem. And to justify the Marcellus Shale operations one needs to include the natural gas liquids, which have to be separated from the gas. The problem is a lack of capacity to do this in the near future. Wells have to be postponed or shut in and once again shareholder equity is destroyed. Sorry but if you look at the numbers there is no case for the shale gas and oil boom. Citing hype and opinions of those who get paid a lot of money to participate in the hype does not change the reality.

I was at fault. I had been buying diaetry supplements (phenibut) that were (at the time) legal for import to Canada, and mushroom spores (which are legal in Canada (that I was not importing). On a regular basis I would transfer about $800 from a chequing account, then 8 days later place my order. I never sold an item using paypal, I only used it for purchase. The last time I transferred they deducted the monies from my bank, and it never showed up in my paypal. I always purchased on ebay (except for the spores). Anyway I went through the resolution steps, and I got an email followed by a postal letter stating that my account had been closed due to illegal activities, siting that I was using it for import of scheduled substances, and my activities would be forwarded to local authorities. I checked the health canada website and nothing I did was illegal YET. Now 3 months later Health Canada banned the import of ANY chemical that was not of a natural source for domestic use -but in a very round-about way. But Paypal called my a criminal when there were just rumors of this new policy, 3 months BEFORE it took effect. I called the RCMP and they told my that if I wasn't selling it, I was not breaking the law. The called me stupid for buying these things for consumption on the internet, but not a criminal. Anyway, paypal closed my account, and I was never able to get my money back. I discussed it with a lawyer on the phone and she said that Paypal is a foreign bank of sorts, and you should never keep you money in a foreign bank as there is always a disharmony of legal status if you do. She said that the cost of getting the money back would be ridiculous, and after a quick check of paypal which she was not familiar with, she said I would probably loose. To summarize, keep your money in an online system that originates in your own country, that way you know the laws will be there to protect you.

I find it interesting that all of the ngteiave comments come from one person. Anonymous. How classy is that. I will address the matter of overtime. All of the deputies are salaried employees, and as far as I know they are all compensated with comp time. I don't know of a law that requires an employee to be paid for overtime work, as long as they are compensated, in kind. Builders donatating for contracts?? Give me a break. All bids for goods or services over $10,000 have to be submitted under the sealed bid laws, and in case you didn't know the Maximun prison and the courthouse expansion were bid and built by the Police Jury, not the Sheriff's Office. Again, and I will go real slow, it is not illegal to pay an employee a liveable wage. It is so illegal, that everyones salary is posted on the wall at every office, as well as the newapaper. Do a little research and find out what other government employees with 34 or 35 years of service make. Nita has worked more hours in a year than most of any of the Anonymous's have in their lifetime of working, if they have ever WORKED. Ya'll or you keep hollering about The Church Anybody have proof that a penny of tax dollars was used to build it, or operate it. Didn't think so. Can we get off the church thing. Everyone chooses the church the attend for their own personal reasons. Attacking someone because of the church they go to sounds alot like you need to spend more time in yours, and listen to your pastor a little closer.Discrimination? An entity as large as the Bossier Sheriffs' Department experiences lawsuits all of the time. People, employees included, see them as deep pockets. Instead of doing the job they are given, some people worm around looking for a fast buck or any solution for their inability to do the work they are given. Most of the time it is a good business decision to settle out of court, as opposed to spending more of the taxpayers dollars on attorneys defending a frivolous claim. No Depties working at night? Have any of you Anonymous's seen any crime statistics? How many daytime burglaries occur at night?? Check any law enforcement agency and you will discover that most of the resourses are dedicated to the day shift. Heck, the almighty FBI doesn't have a night shift, and they are supposed to be working to keeping our whole country safe.I will close by saying that not ONE employee at the Bossier Sheriffs Office was forced to apply there for a job. Not one of them is forced to stay there, if they don't like it, they can quit. Let me slow down again so you can understand. I was not paid to comment on this matter because the Sheriff would not stoop down to this level, and he would not approve of me doing so. I don't care because I don't work there and if Mr. McConnell approves of the junk that anonymous' are putting on this blog, he sure won't be a wise choice for any office. http://onuedalwq.com letvcnxbr [link=http://xmouqn.com]xmouqn[/link]

I think that you are missing my point. The money lnsoig shale operations were producing negative cash flows even though the companies were reporting profits. Not at all, and if you check back to some of my previous comments on these topics you will see that I am in agreement with much of your commentary on shale gas production (and the associated accounting dodges). However it appears that you are conflating a lot of the problems with shale gas plays to the Bakken. Core Bakken wells are reaching payout is 5-6 months. Ultraflat & unrealistic decline curves are not necessary to make the play economic at $80 oil. I don't have access to "average ND" Bakken decline curves but unless you are a consultant in the trend I doubt you do either. I'm not even sure how to define that. The critical difference of opinion here is that you are equating gas shale plays and all their issues with plays that are referred to (incorrectly) as "oil shale" plays. The Bakken and Eagleford are not producing from shales. The oil from both is being produced from thin carbonate layers contained within the shales. It requires hz & frac to access economically but once that is done the Bakken in particular behaves more like a large tight conventional reservoir. That's probably too much detail for this forum - bottom line is if wells are paying out in 6 months they are making money....... http://uimitzevor.com zqhxon [link=http://evyzjs.com]evyzjs[/link]
